Pardon my ignorance, but what's a header?

Also, if you want to put a new engine in, where do you get it? Do you have to buy another car and take the engine out of it?

I've been searching a lot and haven't been able to make much sense of the results. All I see is a lot of phrases and abbreviations that I don't know.

Is there someplace I can go where all the basics are layed out for you? How did you guys all learn all this stuff?

you could also replace the cams, or in our case, the cam b/c accords are equipped with a SOHC motor (single cam) which would give you more power. but the best way to get more power is to do what the others said and that is to swap out the motor for an H22. H22 is the engine code for the Honda Prelude motor. It is a direct swap and no modification to the engine bay is necessary. Instead of the stock accord 145 hp power plant, the hp is bumped up to 190. this swap will run you from 2200 and up depending where you purchase your parts from and what all is included. in order to get the motor and necessary components, you do not have to purchase another car to swap out the motor. there are many sites online that sell motors and all sorts of other engine goodies. just search around and you will be amazed at what you can find. good luck and feel free to ask more questions........just try and use the search button first to avoid annoying many people buy reposting a question that seems to be answered very often.

If you want a 94 coupe, I'm your man. Already has wheels, shocks, springs. Let me know, here's a pic.
