Default Engine Performance Question...

If I were to get a cam gear for my SOHC engine and underdrive pulleys would I have to get premium gas in my car because of the performance increase or not...thanks for your help

nope, but i honestly wouldn't waste my time with a cam gear unless you have bigger plans.

what i would do since you have a 94 which is OBDI is advance the ignition timing to run on premium fuel.

I'd just save up for an H22 swap since you have OBD1.

dont buy a cam gear unless you have a cam. you can swap a h23 cam into the f22 motor if youre looking for something cheap.

or you could save a bit more and buy skunk2 stage one cams.. then save just a bit more and install them into an h22 then you could switch to premium gas.
