no no thats not what I meant...

I already know that they indicate the trim levels but are they shortened two letters for a whole word?

For example, LX might stand for luxury... etc...?

LX = Luxury
EX = Executive

it's like:

dx=deluxe =awesomer
lx =luxury =awesomest
ex=executive=awseomerest

evidently Honda is not the only company using those same letter designations. KIA (who can't come up with anything original anyways) also uses DX (base) LX (mid) EX (high) to class their crappy automobiles.

There are plenty of other cars out there with the LX designation. I remember an old Mustang LX :dunno:
