Default Best header???

I'm in the market to get a header for my Accord, I was wondering if there's a difference between stainless steel and cereamic coating? Also, out of these two choices, which is the better one? better performance? most horsepower? price doesn't matter, as long as its under $500.

Here's a couple pics.......
DC Sports $379 @ Modacar.com

GReddy $369 @Modacar.com

Between the two I would go with DC stainless steel! If you have a Vtech engine don't expect much of a hp gain on just a header install; the stock exhaust manifold is very efficient. Stainless steel discolors, looks good but it's high maintenance. Ceramic stays cooler, keeps color. Over time ceramic may chip away, Descisions, Descisions. You ever heard of Comptech, good hp gains off their products but they are expensive!

chakara and pacesetter is junk

edelbrock is probably ok simply cause it's a good company, but nobody has them so who really knows for sure.

If you have an LX accord and live where it snows DC SS is the best choice. CC header should only be for hot climates. i think the severe cold is what made by CC crack.

i also noticed no heat difference between my DC CC and my Greddy SS.

yeah, cc will crack over time in cold temperatures. and about ss being high maintenance, i dont agree. i dont touch mine except for wiping some dirt and dust off every now and again and it still looks great. go with the greddy.

I didn't know the gen of your Accord sorry! I would have never mentioned comptech if I knew that little bit of info.

SWOOSHER I was refering to the discoloration of ss being high maintenance because I would always polish my ss header to get some of the discolor out. Call me Neurotic! IMO a discolored header doesn't look that good. Rainbow colors bug the shit out of me. Peace!
