I've heard Silver Stars are really good but I use some Matrix "HID" bulbs that I got for free from my cousin who is a wholesaler. Just be sure you don't go over your wattage with out an adapter or you'll fry your harness.

Silverstars are really good. Any other bulb that has an obvious blue coating, is going to be really dim on the road. All they do is look cool to oncoming drivers. Silverstars appear white (at night) to oncoming drivers, and they light up the road better than stock.

Silverstars are made by Sylvania. Almost any parts store will carry them, such as Kragen/Schucks/Checker, or Pep Boys.

I had silverstars & then saw these & bought a set. VERY pleased with the output.

I have since swapped my headlights for dual-projectors & the light output on them FUKKING SUX, so im going back to what I had with the above.

They have the brightness that is as close as you can get to HID without dropping the bank. My buddy has a set of HIDs in his civic & mine were very near his output. Right after I put mine in, I was driving down the interstate @ about 125-130 w/ the brights on & wasn't out-driving the lights! h:

I looked at them...you probably have the 80W versions. That much wattage, yes they'll seem bright. I ran 80w bulbs (9006) before I installed my ecode headlights (H4). I decided to stop using the 80w bulbs when I opened my hood and got a small whiff of something getting really hot (my connectors). So now I run H4 Silverstars with my ecodes, and they are plenty bright, and by far brighter than stock.
