Default Window Problem- Need Help/ Suggestions

I have a 96 Accord LX and just the other day ALL my windows stopped working. I checked all through inside and out the drivers door where main controls are. Checked all fuses, checked the relay. What else could be causing this? I'm up for any suggestions or ideas...... Thanks in advance.

You might want to check the fuses again. All the motors could have burned out, but that would be unlikely and unlucky..

Are all the windows not working? Can you control them from any of the controls on the doors and not through the master control on the drivers door? Does the driver's window roll down/up?

There are actually two fuse panels in your car. At least there is in my 95. Did you check both of them?

There's 3 if you have ABS.

under dash left side kickpanel
under hood passenger side
under hood driver side possibly

Alpha - None of the windows work, not one. Tried all of them from their own control and from the main driver window control and absolutely nothing.

AnthonyM16 - I have checked the fuses both under dash left side kickpanel and under hood passenger side. I cannot find any under hood driver side. I have replaced the relay which is under the hood passenger side and the old one was tested and it is fine.

Thanks to both for your help. Any more ideas or suggestions??? Anyhting will help.

Is it just dead sound, or can you hear the motors going?

Have you done any electrical work lately?

When my ABS was screwing up I had a d4 light blinking problem and I lost power to all my windows, clock, sunroof. So from my experience the windows might be some how electrically connected to other components of your car, try checking every single fuse.

The only other thing I can think of would be a real pain in the ass... Get yourself a volt meter and a Haynes manual. There are schematics in the back of the Haynes manual. Start at the fuse box and work your way towards the windows testing everything.

Other than that... :dunno:
