Stripped lug nut on wheel...

I think he means that the hexagonal sides of the outside of the lugnut is stripped. this wouldn't affect the threads on the inside lugnut or the threads on the bolt though. he just needs a new way to get enough leverage to unscrew it.

I would think he just has to get the lugnut off there and put a new one on there. unless I'm missing something.

Take a grinder to to gugnut and reface it so you can fit a smaller socket or wrench over it. then remove
