What do you mean by "i went ahead and cut the bump-stops when i lowered mine as a precautionary measure". What is the draw back to not cutting them?

i have neuspeed race springs
and i HAD to cut the bumpstops or else the car rode on them on bumpy roads. i went from a harsh bouny ride to MUCH smoother with them cut to allow for proper travel.

I have H&R's and my car rides with the ass a little higher than the front as well, but most people including me like it. Also the kit stated that it would drop it lower in the front. 1.75-2 in the front and 1.5-1.75 in the rear.
