Default 03 Accord EX-V6 with leather.

Hi guys,

I'm buying a new accord EX-V6 with leather. I have an offer of 24,800 drive out price from one of the dealership here in Houston, TX. According to that number, that would be $600 under invoice. KBB invoice for that model is $23,675. Is this a good deal? should i take it or haggle with them for more? The dealership is David McDavid. They're very professional and straightforward. Thanks

That's a pretty good price...I paid 23360 which was what the dealer paid. I've seen people buying them for much higher though, so youre getting a good deal IMO

I paid 25775 OTD price for mine, but I didnt have any offers, I just demanded that price, LOL

I feel bad now I could have went lower...

I needed the car in about 14 hours so I just emailed some honda dealers and told them car I wanted and said this is my OTD price, NO MORE!!!

Got a call 5 hours latter, and went to pick my baby up...

Kinda wish now I said lower or said some other things like spoiler and fog lights, but oh well, I was in a rush and had no time to play...

I also wish I got navi, but oh well was not any...

Anyway thats a good price, I have seen some people get as low as 23k OTD price but hey, all dealers are diffrent...

Oh well my price is my own fault, I didnt ask for offers...

I went to one local honda dealer and said I want the car told them what I wanted and said I was told by another dealer I can get for 25775, he said "sure I can do that, let me figure out how much more tax and all will add.." I said not thats OTD, he said no way they cant do that bla bla bla, "come back to me after you find out that they are playing with you and wont give to you at that price..." Well I never was offered that and the dealer was first one I went to.. I got home and went online and just sent email to 3 dealers including the first one I went to think that must be a good price if the one dealer let me walk away and knew I needed the car NOW, soo about 1 hour latter the place calls me and tells me hey I can do that, let me know when you wana pick the car up...

So hey I cant bitc* I demanded the price not knowing better, and I just turned 18 and this is my first new car and I didnt know about any honda sites before then but now I do and know I could have gotten better but I was not too bad... So hey I would say I did ok for first time buyer on my own... The guy thought I was playing though being I just turned 18 and wanted a 25k car, lol especially sense I had prearranged finacing and all and had blank check in my hand, hehe...

The guy was great and very kinda and came in on his day off to get car ready for me... I now know I coulda got some extras like spoiler and fogs and got car for same price but oh well.. no biggie... I am still young and have learned from my mistakes and now am ready for my next new honda in about 5 years...
