Default Paint Job

I'm about to buy a used car-- the price isn't bad, it's a stick, coupe-- so it works for me. The only bad side is the color. I was about to go to Macco, but reading through the forum made me realize that it was a bad call. And I was wondering how much a custom paint job will cost. If it's too expensive, I'll just get another car. Thanks.

Go to 1Day, affordable, yet decent at the same time.

I paid 2650 for a paint job a couple years ago. Didnt come out how i wanted. My friend got his done at macco the 500$ job. It came out good. Even if it flakes off in a few years who cares just get it redone. Unless you plan on having a show car i dont think it matters anymore.

macco doesn't use clear coat and the job depends on the skill of the painter. every shop is different. your friend got lucky if he didn't have any noticeable paint flaws or overspray. good autobody people don't work for macco, they work for shops doing insurance work since that's where the money is.
