Power wire in 5th gen

Default Power wire in 5th gen

where do you guys run your power wire through on your 5th gens? pics would be helpful i need it on the passenger side too.

follow the thick wire from the positive terminal to the underhood fuse box. There you will see (after removing the plastic clip) that it is held in place by a large bolt. loosen the bolt and attach your wire and tighten the bolt down. voila. be sure to install an inline fuse on that line shortly after it leaves the fusebox.

Maybe I misunderstood, but it sounds like he's trying to hook up an amp and wants to run the power lead to the amp. I ran mine through an existing grommet on the firewall, passenger side. I don't have any pics though, no digi cam.

yeah, remove the carpet and metal plate from the passenger side and you'll find a grommet there
