Default JG Bored Throttlebody

I just finished putting the JG bored throttlebody on my 92 today....

It really does give you some felt gains in the upper rpm's.... You reach redline in all gears a lot quicker. It really smoothes everything out. I'd reccomend one in a second. With the Weapon R throttle rotor on it too, it almost feels like a whole new car...It actually pulls hard in 5thGear.

I had put the throttle rotor on yesterday and I was driving up a fairly large hill that I usually bog on and have to downshift but with the rotor I didn't bog... I was very surprised. It'd be a good mod all by itself.

HS saved my ass on the install though... I couldn't figure out how to get the TPS sensor off the old TB and thought I was focked. The 2 screws that hold it onto the TB have no slots! It's like they were born there or something....
But a quick HS search yeilded me just what I was looking for... just for future reference, you have to take a dremel or a hacksaw and notch the screws so you can fit a screwdriver in there and they unscrew like normal screws.

My only complaint with the TB is that it made my exhaust a tiny bit louder.... My intake hisses louder on idle also, but it's only audible when the hood is open. It def sounds meaner on acceleration now though. It must have been a slight bottleneck in stock form... I'm thinking I'm gonna get a race cat/test pipe now to open any remaining bottlenecks... thank doobness for county's with no smog checks...

Summary: I'm very happy with these 2 mods. Got a little low end ooomph with the throttle rotor and some mid-high end ooomph from the TB.
