Default Upgrading Brake System

I am trying to find out where I can get good pricing on new rotors and a good set of disc front and rear. I don't have the money to go with a Big Brake system. I am looking for something to give me a little more stopping power but, also looks good. Would prefer to have drilled and slotted also looking for pads.

Drilled and slotted on the rotors you mean i hope. Raceconcepts.net has a group on EMC rotors cross drilled and dimpled, or just cross drilled, or just dimpled, or just slotted, and so on for $135 shipped for the fronts. I got them and they're not bad. I got the cross drilled and dimpled and they disappate heat well. Also I have the Porterfield R4S for pads...those are significantly pricey but stop VERY well with VERY little brake dust.

stick w/ blanks, cheaper, practical, and your $$ is better spent on brake pads, SS brake lines, larger calipers, larger rotors, etc than drilled or slotted rotors.

axxis ultimates i hear are very good all around.

"looks good" almost always ends up compromising performance.

axxis ultimates aren't recommend for people who drive alot. The pads die after like 15k-20k or so. And the drilled or slotted do help, not as much as the upgraded brake system of course.

Rotors or pads? If pads, metal masters are chaeap, but they'll eat up your pads and expect quite a bit of brake dust.

You can try ebay or http://groupbuycenter.com for Brembo brake disc blanks. There is also a groupbuy on that site for the SS brake lines @ around 120 for a set. Rotors should be around 40 for the blanks, and pads range pretty much.

Those better be Comptech SS lines (which are goodridge lines) and that price better be shipped...cuz that's expensive. Raceconcepts is selling a set of brake lines for $85 shipped and I can get the Goodridge for $100 shipped.

accordstore has Earls brake lines for 150. Is that way to much?
This is also for an EX.
