Default 6th Gen Exhaust

I'm a newbie here, but I'v had hondas and acuras for quite some time. My question: my girl has a 2000 accord 4cyl sedan, as we all know the power aint there. I was looking for an exhaust for the car t help out, but being my chicks ride it needs to stay quiet. I really like the RS*R one but it seems the only app they have is for a 2dr 4cyl. Will I be able to get this to work on her ride? It's the same engine in all 4cyl accords and the layout looks the same in the shop service manual, but the 2dr is shorter(2in). Is there gonna be fit probs with it you think? Any help or ideas is GREATLY appreciated.

You'll need to have the piping extended for the sedan.

I've heard the Apex'i WS is pretty quiet, and I believe that they have one for the sedan now.

You could also look into some TL/TL-S/CL/CL-S mufflers with custom piping.

I've heard that the Apexi WS is a nice unit, but I've seen a few in pics on here and I think the muffler is just too damn big. I dont think that I could ever grow to like it. Maybe I'll see if I can get the RS*R to fit(I'm a die hard diy'r) or just rig up an exhaust using the muffler off of a TL/CL type s.

I love my skunk2. But with that, headers, and a test pipe, its really loud when I don't have the silencer in.

Hi,

I have asked a few people on installing a dual exhaust on a 4cyl 6th gen accord. I was wondering if other people have any other comments about it? Basically what im looking for is that by putting that on, will I get gains or loss gains? What is the size piping for TL-S or CL-S (is there a difference between the two in the size of the piping?)

Thank you in advance for all the comments..

dual exhausts on a 4 banger will cause a loss in back pressure.. thus, making the car slower.. if u want looks, go for it..

or if you're going turbo, it wouldn't be too bad to have a dual exhaust.
