That's why I originally said when I get a 2dr...it's gonna be a roadster and a 2nd car.
Just my preference is all.

That's exactly what I mean...the coupes aren't really smaller...just less accessible. This may sound crazy...but I'm so anal about my car, that I just couldn't stand watching people climb in and out of my car if I had a coupe. I'd hate people smashing down my driver's seat after I get it into the perfect position, I would hate them stepping on the door sill and brushing the seats with their feet on their way in/out, etc. Your talking to a guy who has towels spanning the floor in the backseat, under my floormats so that if people put their feet on the "hump" in the back, the carpet will still stay clean. I'm messed up.

Schmiddy:
The driver's seat in the coupe uses the same bracket as the sedan--aka the seat doesn't slide forward when you flip the back. AKA no-one can get into the back from the driver side easily. So they don't and your seat stays put. They may have changed this in 01.
I have plastic in the rear to save the carpet--and I don't let anyone place their feet on my sill plate. I find the back to be extremely easy to get into. and fairly easy to get out of for a 2-dr way easier then any coupes I've ever been in.
I had also owned/driven daily 3 previous sedan--I was looking for a change. My number one reason for the coupe however was the lower driving position then the sedan. Other then that I love Coupe and Sedan equally. The best part is they assume its a tight fitting coupe--so no-one wants in the back--good for me
