Front End Alignment
I purchased the car just 3 weeks ago and noticed that it pulls to the right on level straight aways. If you let off the gas and are just glideing and take your hands off the steering wheel you will notice it the car slowly pull to the right. I took the car to the dealer and they said it was within specs for the front end alignment. Then they said it must be the crown in the road. I said BS as I've owned 2 Accords previously and never had either of them pull to the right, they were all neutral. Now they want me to come back and spend another hour with the head tech so he can check the alignment. Does anyone else have this problem, this is very irritating.

So I take it that everyones car runs exactly straight. I appreciate the feedback from all of the knowledgeable Accord owners here.

I'd make sure it pulls no matter what. Most roads are crowned so that water will run off them, so make sure you get in the left lane of a crowned freeway so the road is sloping to the left, and see what the car does. If it veers right uphill, then yes, you may be out of the alignment specs.
Like said above, check tire pressure, etc.
I think most cars come with some inherent slight pull to right to avoid head-on collisions if people fall asleep driving. But I don't know if that's true...just kinda my experience with different cars.
Welcome to the board.
It's not a chat room...it may take a day or so to get an answer here sometimes.
My 03 V6 EX is about 2 weeks old, and I just went on quite a long highway trip .. but guess what .. my pulls to the LEFT .. I noticed it because about halfway into the trip my wrists were starting to hurt, due to the fact I was constantly, though lightly, putting effort into correcting the car .. I haven't done any checks yet, as I just got back .. but am planning to check all tires today and possibly take it to the dealer this week if I can't find the problem. My last car was a 98 same trim so I know it's not 'suppose' to do that.
You guys are touchy, but at least I did get some replies. Most Honda boards are full of kids dreaming of being like the guys in the fast and the furious and I was hopeing to get some knowledgeabe advice from a tech or Honda Manufacturer. Most boards that I frequent respond within hours, not days.
The tire pressure is perfect and the car pulls when it is on the flat center lane and uphills on a 6 lane highway, center lane. I work for an auto manufacturer and build cars for a living. But when I purchase a car I don't feel it's my job to work on it 3 weeks after I purchased it. The mechanic had to adjust the steering rack preload, suspension, steering and the tie rods due to unusual tire wear. So the car is straight for now. Honda is just like any other car manufacturer, they are not bullet proof and have their fair share of problems too. I hope everything comes out good for you Eryeal, I feel your irritation with the same constant light pull.

My car pulls sometimes, but it's mostly the road. I say it's the road because it happens in my parents' cars. There are times when it pulls a little to the right. I'm coming up for a 30k service soon, so I'll have them check it out. I don't have any unusual tire wear though.

Sorry the board isn't up to your standards. You just gotta remember, it's free. Yeah, you might have to sift through some crap, but there are some knowledgeable guys on the board that can help you when you need it.
sup peeps..
1st post but definitely not 1st messageboard i belong to. lol
I bought my Accord ex-V6 4 door (eternal blue pearl) like 3 days ago..and i am just noticing now when i drive on the highway that i too experience this same slight "pull" to the left.
Im gonna go re-check the air pressure in the tires but it is and WAS the job of the service tech to make sure all tires are 32 lbs/ sq. inch before the car left the lot.
reading this thread made me feel better that im not the only one with this problem...but im getting a little nervous here cause i just dropped all this money on this car and i bought it with 21 miles on it so how can a car have alignment problems with only 21 miles on it ya know?
Anyhow..thanx for the feedback and im sure u will seeing me around cause i got mad questions to all u other owners since i am a 1st time honda owner.
