It would be useful to some of us if you could post a proper electrical engineering schematic of the system youve designed, perhaps with the stock wire inputs as "abstract" boxes. Another thing that would help is the manufacturer and specs of the LEDs you are using.

this beater doesn't need HIDs, lol. 9005 to 9006 conversion is good enough
