Default BAD idealing

Ok here it goes. I have a 97 accord. Some times when I’m behind a red light or just idealing my car ideals rough. Usually not when the ac is on. And its not always. My rmp drops well below 1 and I feel like the car is about to turn off. Is there something wrong with my vacuum, timing, spark or wiring? I have ngk spark wires and new spark plugs, rotor and distributor cap (less than 5k miles)? This was not occurring a year ago.

When I stop at a red light my RPM goes to about 500-550... So yours going below 1000 should not be to bad, but then again you have an older car so what would I know? lol

Anyway how many miles your car has? maybe you just need to adjust idealing rpm a little higher so your car is more stable...

Hows your car in N, and what about in D and just not pushing the gas, let it roll on its own, is that rough or only sitting still in drive?

well I will say this much...my car at a stop light goes down to 500 and it does not shake whatsoever...my mechanic when I had my old car (it shook) he said that I need to advance the idle a little bit...I am undsure where it is on the Accord's (at least I haven't found it on mine) another thing is that he said it was because of dirty injectors...I would try some Chevron injector cleaner and see what the results are.

I have 64k on my car. I take care of it. All the tune ups are done. And its a 5sp, it usually not rough and when I drive it I don’t feel like it has any dirty ejectors. Can it be the Fuel filter?
