Eiback Pro Kit for 00 Accord Coupe EX what else should I get?
I just got some brand new Eibach Pro Kit Springs and was wondering what should I consider before installing them? Should I also consider buying other stuff to go with it? Could the stock parts damage anything? Just wondering am new to this forum and just wanted some info, thanks.
How much do you think it'll cost for an alignment? I talked to this local shop and they told me it would be $140 just to install the damn springs is that too much? My friend is going to ask for a price at this shop in San Francisco called Mach 3, he got his springs installed there for $80 bucks a much better deal.
i think an alignment could be anywhere from $40 to 80. i was quoted $120 by a couple of places to install springs and shocks. i've heard good things about Mach III, and i've been in contact w/them about rims and they have good communication. the guy to talk to is walee. if you want to find out more about them, go to www.machiii.net
That price seems fair...I payed about $200 for the installation
Definetely get an alignment about a week after, just to allow the springs to settle in.
My Prokit has been on since April 2002, so a little more than a year. The drop on my prokit is about 1.5" all around. I did not get after market shocks, not only becuase I didn't want to spend the money but also becuz there was no need for it. I am not into too much handling, I just wanted to get rid of the ugly gap. So you don't necessarily need the springs. BUT if you plan on getting them later get them now becuase it will save you the installation price. They will have to take the springs off anyways to get the shocks on.
