Wings west installation pics (lots)
I got my wings west w-type a few days ago. My internet hosting went down, and i couldn't upload the images from my camera, but here they are now. After anxiously awaiting fedex freight to deliver (a whole 5 days after they were supposed to) i had a few friends help me put it on.
I had wings west paint it so all i had to do was open it and go to town. I might add wings west did an excellent job on the paint
We didn't have enough room to get into the wheel wells to drill holes, so we took off all the wheels and got it on jack stands

We worked on the sideskirts first (probably the hardest part to do because we had to drill holes through these metal L shaped pieces, and all we had was a drywall bit with a dremel. Took forever but it worked) And finally, we got one on!

After the 2 skirts, the front was a piece of cake

We kinda messed up the first time on the back because it was a bitch to get on, so when we peeled off the double sided tape and stuck it on, it was a bit crooked. Here's my buddy investigating

Voila! Complete!

Now just to get the wheels on and back to the ground

Btw, i picked up this impact wrench that plugged into the cigarette adaptor, and man did that help to get the wheels on/off. Surprisingly lots of power from a 12 volt source
And finally done

But now the moment of truth...going down the evil driveway, looks kinda close

I was safely able to make it down the driveway, but with about 1 finger worth of space
3 days later and i've scraped 3 times, 2 on that damned driveway and 1 at the entrance of work...the two places i go to most. Oh well, just gotta get the "art" down. I looked under to see the damage and got really mad at myself. Oh well i love it, and it's not too often that i'm laying on my back looking upward at it
thanks jschmid for inspiration, buying info, and installation info
