Default V6 or H23

My friend doesn't know whether he should get a v6 motor or an H23. He wants to go fast and he has an accord exl 4door 2003. Which is the better motor to get?

What are you asking?

He just bought a new Accord? If so, it's either the V6 or K24 I4 motor. If he wants it faster, then he should sell the car, and buy something fast.

Please don't tell me he's thinking of swapping a motor into it???

a swap in a new car is just about the most foolish thing you can do. You lose so much money just drivin it off the lot and now he wants to wipe out his warranty too? Not to mention all of the technical problems involved and that neither of those motors will be a direct swap. If he wanted the V6, he should have bought it, and if he wanted to go fast, he should have bought an RSX. Tell him to take his money to a shrink instead. . .cos hes nuts.

True but it's his $$. Thats why I've never bought a new car. Anyway he was just wondering about the swap and thats why I posted this (I know nothing about accords).

Wow, he's an idiot for buying an Accord if he wanted to go so fast. Why didn't he get a 6 speed Accord or an RSX Type-S or a Celica GT-S or a Mustang GT?

one of those spontaneous shoppers you know

Is a six speed worth anything on these tanks? I'd get an A/T anyway because they're made for comfort and easy driving.

wait so your friend wants to swap a H23 into his 7th gen accord? his k24 has more hp than an h23 why would he want to down grade to a slower engine? and if he wanted a v6 he should've bought one in the first place.
