Disapointed with my KONI yellows..
hi everyone. i just installed my koni yellows and they are NOT the best shock you can get. at least i hope not. my old suspension setup (tokico blues w/ skunk2 coilovers) were just a little more "bouncy". i was hoping to alleviate that problem with the koni/prokit setup. if i had to rate the bouncing level, it would be in this order, tokico, koni, stock. konis are not worth the price you pay for them.

if it's the latter, you're set too soft. stiffen it up a bit. if it's the previous, then soften up the ride a bit. that's why you bought adjustable shocks isn't it?

oh god. dont do that. those are the worse you can get.
Id say that it goes to show that the skunk2's are notas bouncy as people say. i have them, i think they ar straight, and relatively smooth.
I have no problems with my konis yellows. At full soft, they are a bit more firm than my stock shocks (with the same springs). Koni Yellows are the higher performance shock koni makes for Accords, so it's not going to ride like stock, it's going to a bit more firm, but my car feels so much more planted to the road during "spirited" driving.
I wouldn't recommend them if your primary goal is comfort. But if you want performance, and still a liveable ride quality, the Koni Yellow's are great.

I love my Yellows. Yes, I had problem with how much more drop I get but once I took care of that, the car rides and handles great.
Like others have already stated, play with the damping adjustment. You'll feel the difference.
