I don't want anything quiet that won't make any noise. Ya know. I want to turn heads. I know that it would eventually get annoying, but that's why I want a silencer for it. Oh yeah, drmmrboy87. Why would piping and a muffler sound like shit? It is the same as cat back setups without a resonator on it. It would just be louder. Later

I'm having the same dilemma. I found a nice Tom Motorsport 3" angled tip muffler, but haven't heard anything about it. I was also considering the Apexi N1 style muffler too because shelling out 250-300 bucks for a genuine Apexi isn't worth it to me.

The reason I want to do custom exhaust is because I can get and bend the 2.25 pipes for free where I work. So why spend 400+ dollars on a full catback, when I can get a muffler for 100-130 and free pipes with the same results.

Let's get some feedback on the Apexi N1 STYLE muffler and this Tom Motorsport muffler.

if you want good sound, go for the name brand mufflers. none of that cheap shiet.

and when you're shopping, keep in mind an "apexi n1 style" muffler is not the same as a true "apexi n1" muffler.

all the people I know around here that have the muffler / piping, it sounds all high pitch and shitty, maybe they just have cheap mufflers...

The difference between mandrel and crush REALLY doesn't make a huge difference. Shyt if it "cuts of flow" just go for 2.5" to make up for it. But it's really not a big difference, more for looks than anything.

Anyone have feedback about my post a few up?

hello,

somewhat related topic, but I was wondering if there is anybody out there with an 6th gen 4cyl that has a dual exhaust setup? I know that some of the V6 will make fun of me for having a "v6 wannabe" but Its just an idea. I just wanna know if there will be any gains or diffrence between 1 muffler or 2? any comments??

Which pipe size would be best 2.25 or 2.5 for a 90 accord. I don't want to go too big, cuz then I will lose power. Any feedback appreciated. I really hope a can get mandrel bent piping. Mandrel = more flow
