Those generic strut bars are pretty flimsy and very thin at the end of the bar where it mates to the mounts that connect up to your strut towers. Now, the Neuspeed bars are one-piece and is stamped to make the ends flat to mount it flat on the strut towers.

Plus, the Neuspeeds are steel vs. the generic ones being aluminum. Aluminum is good for lightweight and some strength and stiffness but it's torsional and bending stresses are less than that of steel. And that's the whole point of these bars. You want to reduce the twist and bends of the engine bay frame when you go around turns and such.

But the question of whether to: buy one solid bar like the Neuspeed for like $90 or buy 3 flimsy aluminum bars for the front strut, rear strut, and lower tie bar for like $100 (which I think is kind of hard to do) is hard to answer. The 3 cheap bar combo may give you more handling gains but they may break within a year or so and may cost you more in the long run. Even if you get the cheap generic aluminum bars, just don't get DC Sports. Those are lightened with holes and they surely don't help when they bend under enough stress. Unless if you use titanium or another lightweight but very strong alloy, it'd be good to stick with steel bars like Neuspeed's.
