Default Painting Help

hey everyone. i have a 93 accord lxa: 10th anniv edition. i have been giving serious consideration to getting it repainted. the car still has the factory black paint, but its scratched and small corners are oxidizing. i have been thinking of getting it painted a deep blue color or just black. i see these comercials for u know Maaco Ambasador paint job for $150, is that any good? wat are the cons of that? about how much am i looking to spend to get a decent paint job on my car? anyone have any suggestions on where to get it done? i live in a suburb of detroit Michigan.

Thanks.

Don't take it to maaco. They don't do proper prep work and use cheaper materials. I've heard the paint comes off bad within 2 years if well taken care of. If you go with black the price should be less than a color change. I've heard getting a paintjob can go for a couple grand but don't have first hand knowledge. That's all I know anyways....
