Default exhaust question

The guy i may be buying the vo from has a 2dr and i have a 4dr. Will his exhaust still fit my car or not He said it would.

you might have to take it to a local muffler shop and have the pipes shortened.

yeah I would think so, the 4dr 6th gen is a hella lot longer than the 2 door. but mine (5th gen) the 2 door and 4 door are the same length, so my evo fit no problem.

they won't fit. a sure way to check is to go to an online store and find the exhausts. "add to cart" the coupe and sedan versions and check the part numbers. if it looks like this ...

XXX-510
ZZZ-224

then it's 2 completely different systems ... if it looks like this ...

XXX-510
XXX-511

then it's usually a small differance ... like the way the hangers are bent.
