mine from yesterday (1st ever time to a strip)

18.076 @ 81.38 (just testing the waters )
17.185 @ 81.61
17.117 @ 81.21
16.995 @ 81.50
16.878 @ 82.70

completely stock 5-speed

first three runs were with no weight reduction. last two were with removed spare/jack/sub

on the last run, i disconnected the air intake snorkel from the filter box, just to see what effect it would have... obviously, an intake would be a worthwhile investment.

Yeah, you picked up 1.2mph on the last run! Intake (& other air-flow mods) are definitely worth while. Also WEIGHT REDUCTION, also easy to see from your times, makes a big difference. Last time I took my Accord to the track (when it was still an auto) it ran a 15.94@91.1mph with just air mods. I should run it again because it's a LOT faster now with the 5-Speed/clutch/flywheel/intake manifold it has now... :a:

nice reaction times

I think i pmed with you awhile back. Just want to help you out with ur times. When i had intake/header/exhaust, I'd run mid to high 16's. But that's with the no seats no spare tire. I'd also run it 1-2-D3.

you can deff run 16s right now. if i can find my old time sheets, i'll compare numbers with you. i.e. 60ft, 1/8.

Yeah, well the first 2 runs were 1-2-D3 with no power brakeing. The last runs were D3 and power-brakeing. So im not sure if it was the powerbraking that helped or the D3 only? :dunno: I will probally go July 5th again to work on it some more. I dident want to remove my jack and spare because I dident really think it would help? But I will next time.
