The altezza epidemic has hit the east coast really hard. The "SARS epidemic" doesn't have shit on the "altezza epidemic". I respect anyone who hates altezzas cause they are so played out man! I need to know what you members are rockin these days for tails. My car looks pretty hooked up and the stock tails are killin me. Prefer pics cause :wopics:

You can tint the tails besides the red clears

 

hey dude dont buy altezzas please.
if you have a 2001/2002 sedan you can self thear the bottom to make them all red/clear w/o the orange cube.

theres a good DIY in the DIY section of the board.

i did mine with the direction and advice of illusion from the board, once you lose the amber you should buy the APC titan bulbs that look chrome when they are off yet blink amber (well i bought amber you can get them that blink any color)

so it looks like this when its all said and done:


the left side is the corner with the orange cleared out and the right side is the stock corner.

here they are on illusions car, which is exactly what mine look like on my black 6th gen.

I got the red/clears like JSchmid has and they are great. I heard they weren't the best quality but I had no probs whatsoever installing and haven't had them fog once.

I don't have any pics but tinting the pink part of you stock tails is a cheap mod, and it looks pretty good. I've only seen 2 6gen sedans with it done. Actually loxllxol's ride is the ride of the month and he tinted the top part of his tails. check that out, his ride is sick.

i just read that you have a 99 so what i showed yuou wont help you, because the ones i put up are the stock 01-02 tails.

anyhow if i were you id definatly go red clear, or smoke out the top part like skabone said.

The red/clear tailights are for the 98-00 sedans. I'd say your best bet are the red/clears with or without the tint on the clear. I think on black cars like ours, it looks best without tint. The tint looks pretty good on that HM sedan.
