I'm kinda late chiming in here, but I test drove the RSX base before driving the Accord LX V6. The RSX was fun, although lacking in headroom for me. But I am buying for the long haul, and I think that over 7+ years I would get tired of bumping aroung in the RSX, even if it did fit me. The Accord, on the other hand, felt like it was custom designed for me. In my case, it would have been an easy decision, all else being equal, to choose the Accord.

they're both really tight rides. you're in for a tough decision but the upside is that you can't really lose.

Personally I liked the interior of the accord better, but the RSX is faster/looks sportier. Basically I tried to get the best of both worlds by getting the Accord coupe with lower springs and the body kit. It looks aggressive as hell now, but the RSX will still handle better and beat it in a sprint.

I guess you just need to decide what your priorities are.

I'd have to tripple the TSX recomendation. Six speed transmission, performance a perfect balance between Accord and RSX-S, and a real back seat and trunk. I'll probably drive one soon (I always drive new release cars when I get a chance), and I recomend you do as well if you haven't. Had a very good review in Car and Driver. I think their only complaint (typical of Honda sometimes) was that the tires were overwhelmed for the car's potential.
