true, the only gain that you would get from getting an aftermarket header on an ex is losing some weight. I here the gain is minimal to none but shedding a few pounds does help.

maybe if we were talking about the Type R header on a teg/civic then i would say your 100% for the accord theres a respectable gain vs. price point

this the SMSP prototype for the H22. i believe it does make about ~20hp. i'm sure a larger collector will make power on the f22, especially a vtec model i would guess about 10-15hp. the problem is accord owners that stick with the f22 aren't generally the type to spend that much on a header. the ones that want power generally go h22, turbo, or sell it for something faster.

honestly if you know how to weld or know someone who can make custom turbo manifiolds they can customize a DC or Greddy header with a larger collector. also keep in mind a large cat will be needed. afterall the reason the collector is so small is to bolt to the stock cat.

I want one. Any prices in mind? Also, if you guys can fab up a header, how much/how difficult would it be for you to make a full exhaust system? Think about it, header-cat-pipes-muffler, all in one package, with some dyno numbers on overall increase in HP. Also, I don't have to worry about emissions, so I would actually prefer a test pipe instead (since alot of the other smog stuff is gonna go). Hook it up.

What about the possibility of a full cat back system? If you're in Kentucky, I'll drive up there and you can use my car as a mule.

its really nice to offfer your car as a test mule but there are plenty of local guys stepping up to the plate that are interested too.

thanks again.
