when i installed my aem cai, i didn't use the foam filter. there was no hose/hole to plug it with. i have a f22b1 on a 96 2.2 vtec. anybody else do the same?

in the instructions it said something about if you have a VTEC engine, you gotta do something else.. did you read them when you got it?

i read it really quick, but in pictures, i didn't see another hose coming out of my stock tube other than the one going to the crankcase. maybe i'll take a look at it later. at least i'm not getting any check engine lights.

i wish i could have done that my car was too low i had to jack it up to let the res. fall down funny enough my springs stretched and wouldnt let my rims off the floor but i got up high enough to do what i needed to be done

actually its very easy.. just same basic tools.. socket wrench set(might need an extention, i did), a screw driver/drill w/ philips & flat head tips, a jack to lift up car (if real low) and some elbow grease.. you'll be suprised the resonator is the hardest part of the whole install..
