I'd go for cheap ones $40/each 195x60x15 since my superior driving skill will be the dominant one h:

The SportContacts are VERY good from what I've read. Never read anything about your ExtremeContacts. But BTW, I read that they're good for "light snow and slush traction" in R&T.
I got the extreme contacts because I didn't really need anything Mucho aggressive, and I'll probably be lazy and get into 1 or 2 snows while the extremes are still on, and I don't want to be SOL when that happens.

Thanks for the clarification........that is what I guessed
better grip = shorter tread life

I cannot complain about the grip of the A2's - but then again I am coming from the stock Michelins (which are terrible), so I guess my basis for comparison is pretty low.

By the way, how many miles did you get on your D60's?
honestly i really couldn't tell. i bought those tires for my 92 accord and then i kept them as winter tires for my 95. they actually still had decent rubber on them when i junked them, just not good enough for winter use.

they do handle much better than the stockers for sure. when i would switch back to my sp5000s in the summer, holy grap what a difference from the D60 A2s. now with my real snow tires it's an even greater difference.

I just go by what I've used and what others around me use. I'd say a good 80% of all of us use S03s........I've never had a problem and I love the way the work.....however I was thinking of maybe picking up some Advan tires sometime
Go to the link I posted. The Advans were ranked way down with the S-03's.
