Something broke inside engine?
This morning I have started hearing what sounds like a big piece of metal rattling inside the engine. It happens while driving and at idle.
Ive looked through other posts and it doesnt seem like the heat shield.

So just checked it made the noise for about 2 mins then stopped, drove a couple blocks down the road and back still no noise...
Sounded like it was coming from the the valve cover or right side of the motor(looking at it)...

It seems like this is going to be either the cam shaft seal or balance shaft. I have a question tho... The car died in the driveway, when I got out I saw a lot of oil coming out from the belt area. Now to the question. Is it possible the engine just stopped and didn't seize since there was still a lot of oil coming out of the engine?
