Same thing can be said how we get the EVO VIII here in the US as the Evolution. It's not the same thing but it's the closest we can get.

Yes, there are real Accord Type R. They are only sold in Europe. And made in England from 98-01. They have a 218hp H22A engine. And the body is different then the 99-01 Accord Euro R from Japan. It is not as fast as the Euro R but it has a top speed of 240km tested at the autobahn.
