4300k series is alot brighter and the light output is closer to white (not with a blue/purple color shift) h:

why would you say dimmer i havent seen a HID kit yet thats dimmer than the stock output. the color shift yeah that plays a role but total visibility is improved ova stock by having a HID kit

As you increase color temperature you decrease the useable lumens.

So lets say stock 9005 is 1700 lumens. 4300K HID D2R is 2800 lumens. *6000K HID D2R is 2400 lumens 7000K is 2000 lumens. 7500 K is 1800 lumens. 9000K D2R HID is about the same as 9005 or worse.* Can you tell 100 lumens apart? That is the equivalent of 168 wedge bulb light. Also keep remember blue light is short wave so when it rains its even worse.

*All lumens are approximate but reality is it decreases in useable lumens before color shift. Also as it color shifts it decreases even more as well as overall useable light decreases with age of the bulb.
