Default Scratch remover?

I've got a few minor scratches on my 94 accord and noticed alot of "scratch remover" compounds in kmart the other day. Does anyone know which of these brands, if any, actually work to remove minor scratches and swirl marks?

depends how bad they are.

3m light cut rubbing compound, then follow with 3m swirl remover, then polish the area real well
