'99 accord vtec..

problem, once you crank it, it starts up and turns right off, the owner was told by his previous mechanic that it was his starter goign bad, and that it would do this if not changed, but the car starts up on the first crank, so I dont think its the starter, anyone have any ideas at what it could be?

 

altinator maybe that was the case in my car i would get my car running then once i put it in gear to get going i would have nothing but dimming dash panel and really slow (if any) movement
