i switched to a lude wheel in my accord. umm I only did it once and didnt set off the airbag so I guess that really doesnt tell much, but I highly doubt you will set it off. just follow the helms manual procedure. something like disconnecting the battery, then connect the short protectors. so you shouldnt set it off.

You want a how-to?

Here's one that MrChad and I did. I took the pics, he did the writeup.

u think an 03 av6 coupe 3 spoke wheel would fit in my 6th gen ex sedan? THe guy at the dealership told me no...but then, they also said that it wasn't possible to DIY clear or black housing headlights...they pretty much say everything is impossible unless they can find a way to charge you to do it... so what do u guys think? will that work?

Well swapping just the steering wheel, like the accord wheel for a TL-S wheel involves only the wheel, because it is the same size, etc.

If you go to something like the 3 spoke wheel, you'd have to use the airbag that came with the wheel. Much more $ and I guess there could be compability issues as well.
