Default Leds For Door Lights

hey is there any way to make the simple blub on the 6th gen doors into A led .. if so how ? i want to do the bright blue or bright white
what led to buy from radio shack..

5mm, get a resistor to meet the requirements ( the friendly rat shack guy should be able to tell you )....you'll probably want at least 2, or you may want to put reflective tape in the housing or paint it "chrome" to help with light output.

RS doesn't sell bright LEDs :rofl:
Good idea tho...I wan't to do that too - I have a 1 watt royal blue LED but prolly a little overkill for the application.

I am currently converting my license plate lights and interior door light to LED set ups. 2 LEDs in each tag light holder and 3 LEDs in each door light holder.

I have blue LED's in my doors...they just plug right in, My friend hooked me up with some, but you can look at www.autodynamic.com

yeah, they have "bulbs" with LEDS in them specifically for that... all you have to do is pop the bulbs in like the incandescent ones.

autodynamic and ebay have them

...for a pretty penny (sometimes), but if you know your electronics you can do it yourself and drive them the way you want to
