Is it true that Honda's camber not adjustable?
Sup guys,
My 97' Accord has been lower with prokit an year ago and had minor camber problem. I decided to rise my car back with my OE springs to fix that camber problem. Anyway, I bring my car to the alignment shop today but the guy there told me since my car has been lowered before, there is nothing they can do. The guy also told me Honda's camber is not adjustable, once the camber is bad, it bad forever unless I buy a camber kit So, I paid $65 for basically NOTHING. I thought I can bring my camber to zero after rising it back......

hmmmm that makes no sense since you adjusted the car back to its stock setting. i'm guessing you had stock shocks on the pro springs? if you swapped your shocks then you need to replace them as well. thats my guess

thats probably were the offset still is most aftermarket shocks dont sit like the stock ones do. it would have been cheaper to buy an adjustable chamber kit and have it corrected to your new setup. also for a pro drop you really didnt need a chamber kit at all
I wouldn't think shocks alone would throw off camber. On my car, the camber is basically a function of height.
Does it look like you have excessive negative camber? If it doesn't look bad, screw them. Just rotate your tires regularly, and you'll be fine.

idunno, i was under the impression that raising the car back to OE height would correct the camber, but throw the toe off, thus the need for an alignment.
btw, those bilstein HD's have 2 height perches, you can adjust the height about 1/2 of an inch.

for the 5th Gen:
Front OEM camber is not adjustable (need a replacement ball joint)
Front OEM Caster is not adjustable (Period)
Rear OEM camber is Adjustable (washers & Longer bolts or the complete Control Arm kit with ball joint)
The toe for the front and rear are adjustable (don't need any kit or whatever)
If you lowered your car and NEVER had your camber adjusted, then raising back to stock is not a problem, though the specified range for the cambers is from -1 to 1 degree. The alignment shop is just being BS about lowered cars and such, I went to 10 alignment places in my area, and they all b*tches about lowered cars and their adjustment, they just being lazy since alignment will take a long time to get the right adjustment.
Camber problem is just the matter of heights.

thats true i had a simplier problem when i had to get my car aligned i had to go to a local import shop (around my way) who told me where to go to have it done since i went to about 5 places to get it align'd and no one wanted to even try
yeah, alignment places are a bunch of bitches when it comes to lowered cars. I'm from lake charles, LA, and out here it's damn near impossible to find anybody to do anything to modify a car. everytime i order a part it takes ****in forever to find somebody who can put it on. Im pretty much gonna do everything myself from here on out...the intake, exhaust, interior trim, gauges, rims, the only thing im gonna let anbody touch is the body kit install and paint cuz my water color airbrush system broke last week.
