Default Auto. Transmission Cooler

My interest for transmission coolers was sparked by a previous thread on here.

I was just wondering, has anyone ever installed a tranny cooler and/or an inline tranny fluid filter on their 4cyl. Accord? A lot of AV6 guys have done it, and they notice smoother shifts. Some have complained of crappy trannies, so for them getting a cooler is worth it, especially for ~$50.

I am particularly interested in the B&M 24,000 GVW SuperCooler, which uses a plate+fin design, unlike the tube+fin design used on the Hayden 403:

Would the cooler be mounted on the passenger side of the radiator?

I don't care if you've installed it on a 5th/6th gen, I just want to know what you did since the instructions are going to be pretty generic. How did you route the return line?

How about 4th Gen. Accord??

Which model do I need? 16,000 GVW, 19,000 GVW, or 24,000 GVW?

i run a hayden stacked fine type cooler. just mount it anywhere it can get free flowing air when you drive. to route the line when u unplug the hoses from the stock tranny cooler in the radiators crank up your engine but dont let it turn over, the hose doesnt drip is the return hose.

I have one in mine. I forget what brand, but it was a plate/fin design. I made up a bracket and mounted behind the radiator and fan. That way it wouldnt block airflow through the radiator.
