hey guys i just bought a 6th gen today they title was from MASS. but i got it registered here in NJ .. but THEY DIDINT GIVE ME A TITLE and i didnt realize until i left liek 1 hour later.. and they closed when i whent back.. is it that they mail the new title after they do a check on the MASS title or wut? cause when i bought a nj car i got the title right away.. ok thanks!..

I just checked - I bought a car originally titled in NY and I picked up the NJ plates and registration at DMV. They sent me the NJ title later. I'm sure of that because it's still in the same envelope. I don't know what they do now but that's what they did in 1996.

If you buy out of state registered automobile... from dealer, dealer will mail you the title about one-week of time.. How do I know that? My friend bought 91 Accord EX from Chicago, IL area and he lived in State of Michigan..

 

yes in NJ if you buy a car that was from out of state, the dmv will MAIL you the new title.
