Default JET module problem

Hey

I have a JET V- Force module for my 94 Accord auto nonvtec (yeah, it's slow). It works fine for normal driving but makes my car throw a check engine light when I hit 85mph. Anyone have experience with this module from JET?

I beileve it tricks your car into thinking it is getting more air in the motor so you have better throttle response or something. You dont actully gain power its just you get better throttle response makeing it feel like you do. I think that is what someone said before.

JET = gay, I've read many report about them but Dynos proved that they are useless, even for VTEC boost etc.

Actually the Jet product was shown to yield 7 whp on a 5th gen Accord (this is years ago). It was a poor mans chip.

The problem with the Jet unit was that it was hobbled with overheating issues in their initial production run. I believe it was later corrected, but the image damage was done already....

But in relation to this pull it out and you should be okay...unless you truly have something wrong...

Well its SS and they are known for irresponsible and false reporting especially when the sponsors lube them up just right.

I think this was one of those cases so that JET could put the fire out from their previous error in judgement and figured no one would notice.

Thanks for the link
I don't have to worry about it much more since I'm selling it to a performance shop very soon
