Default badge/emblem removal question

i have an 03 accord coupe ex and i was thinking about removing the 'accord' emblem on the back of the car. i know about using a hot air dryer to heat up the badge and removing it with a credit card or whatnot, but my question is wheter there will be holes behind the emblem or not.

if not great i'll go remove it, but if there is, i'd rather not. i'm thinking it might have holes because most of the badgeless civics that i've seen always have two empty holes, but is it the same for the newer hondas as well?

has anyone done it yet and got pics?

thanks. peace

Don't know about the 03 models. I know the 5th gen ones have no holes on the "Accord" emblem, but I don't know about the '03s. If they do and you really wanna remove it though, you can always just fill the holes with bondo, and then paint over it, but that kinda makes it a little more of a project.

No clue if there's holes. Best bet is to gut the underside of the truck lining to see if you can see any holes.
