ok, heres the deal. when i had my car up on one of the lifts at work, i was looking at the underbody to make sure everything was in good shape. i was looking at my Apex-i WS coilovers in particular and i noticed how they had rusted a little bit over the winter. yes i was quite pissed h: . but anyway, im about to put my new wheels on and i was wondering if there was anyway to cover up the rust (sand off, paint over [could f\/ck up the threads], etc) so that you dont see the uglyness through the wheels. i would like my suspension to atleast look nice when people look. i hope someone can help me out. thanks.

 

you mean the threads are rusted, tried Engine Rust Cleaners ?
