Never even heard of MTEC.

PIAA is a good company though. Specifically what bulbs?
Sylvania Silverstars are also good.

MTEC blubs are pretty popular here in LA, I'm about to get them this weekend. I had PIAAs before, they are good quality, but looks too "stock"

Stock and Sylvania and OEM > everything else.

I like Silverstars. Though they have the slightest purple tint as opposed to the blue tint, and I don't like the purple. I can say they are the brightest knockoff xenon's I have seen though.

from my personal experience with bulbs ...

OEM - good for visibility ($20 per pair)
SilverStars - brighter than OEM, but still a bit yellow ($50 per pair, before rebate)
PIAA HyperWhites - definately white, but not worth the ($80 - $100 depending on bulb blends)

if you truely want the best and brightest bulbs, go with HIDS. you can easily find a slightly used pair on message boards for only $250 - $300

PIAA all the way!!

it really depend what your lokking for, look or preformance&brightness
for preformance, quality, and brightness, you can't go wrong with PIAA, and they come in street legal versions too, for those that have to be concerned about that issue
