I have a 2003 Satin Silver DX 5-speed. I've had it for 2 /12 months, have 2400 miles on it, get 32 mpg just driving around town - and I love it!!

It's true, almost everyone has an EX, I don't see any other DXs and not too many LXs- but, as far as it being a waste of money, I only paid $12,988 and for that I am driving a brand new Accord! True, it doesn't have many of the extras, but it's prewired for most of them, so I can add what I want to as I can afford to and don't have to pay for anything I don't want. (I did have them add in the factory air, for an additional $1400.)

(Have to admit, though - if money was no object, I would be driving a graphite pearl EXL. )
13grand for the lowest level hmmm what they give u the frame, some air bags and a seat?

Well it's a really nice frame and really comfortable seats . . . seriously, though, it has ABS, power windows, CD player (only 2 speakers but I'll replace them anyway and it's wired for all), AC now, and it's really solid and has a better interior and engine than anything else out there, new, at that price (that I've seen anyway.) The plastic wheel covers have to go right away though - but the ones on the LX are even worse, i think. Lack of power locks is also bugging me - I'm going to add those ($200+).

I wish I could have had a brand new Accord EX when I was in college, like so many of you do! I had a really old rusty Chevy Impala that got 9mpg. ugh.

You have a car that is the most important thing and its a Honda which should prove to be very reliable. When I was in college I had a Hyundai Scoupe and I loved it. Be Thankful!!!! To those that are trying to diss his car, be fair we all had to start somewhere.
