swoosh is the winner, he got it EXACTLY right, good job man, thought i'd do that for fun, yeah, i broke my temp gauge on my indiglo install, anyone have any tips to get it workin again? its superglued in that spot, looks like i stumped most of you, so i guess when i sell the car any ordinary joe wont notice, i think it was broken to begin with cause when i ran the car... no matter how hot the car or weather got it would never get above that spot

Yes but when I shut mine down the temperature gauge reads zero until I power on the car in either first or second position. Gas gauge is same way.

Mega: Technically I said it first - "I'm going to guess that the tempgauge is stuck." :fawk:

Did you break the gauge or is it just stuck on the gauge face?

broke, then glued it back in the lil plastic hole, but im assuming its not the plastic that turns its the metal post that broke, BTW vagueness is not accepted
