4th Gen drum->disc?
Hey...
It's time to fix up my 1991 Accord's sqeaky rear brakes. I'm prepared to put in disc brakes, but from which car?
Someone told me a long time ago that the rear brakes from a '93 Accord wagon were disc brakes, and that they go in without hassle...
Anyone else done this? What worked? Suggestions?
Thanks

I have '93 rear discs on mine. The swap was simple, have pics if you want to see exactly what I changed. Still using the stock proportioning valve... seems to work fine. May want to look into the proper one (disc/disc) if you are a more aggresive driver. I did the swap about 2.5 years ago, no problems...
Well here is the picture you are probably most interested in:

My stock '90 drums (top) and the '93 discs (bottom) I picked up at a junkyard. All you need to complete the swap is the rear hub-assembly (outlined in green). Both control arms (arrows) are identical and can be reused. Oh and the e-brake cable is different...
