Periodically, my 99 LX has been making a "popping" sound midway through the exhaust pipe. It's a stock muffler...has anybody had experience with exhaust leaks?

98CoupeV6 thinks he might have one on his Accord.

I think it'd be a bit early for the exhaust to be going...only 36,000 miles and four years old. :dunno:

 

well... crank it, put it up on ramps or jackstands, and take a spraybottle with slightly soapy water and spray all of the joints of your exhaust. if you see bubbles like there are gasses escaping from a point, then there's a leak.:bigok:
